Film Review - Beautician and the Beast, The
I cannot stand the sound of Fran Drescher's nasally voice. FOR GOD'S SAKE, WOMAN! GET THAT FIXED! Whew! OK, on with the film review.
The Beautician and the Beast is little more than a sitcom on steroids. It's a rip-off of The Sound of Music with some very good comedic acting tossed it.
It is Timothy Dalton who scores in the acting arena. Dalton plays a dictator who is softened by Drescher. Not a whole lot can be said for this film other than I liked it better than the average sitcom. No message here, just a few jokes.
