Film Review - Atlantis: The Lost Empire

Why do so many film makers dumb down children's entertainment?

Atlantis: The Lost Empire is about an unlikely explorer being duped into revealing the location of the lost continent so greedy mercenaries can steal everything.

Of course, morality wins in the end with the explorer melting the hearts of the thieves -- except the ringleader. He of course must die in this morality play.

This is so simplistic the children should ask for their money back.
