Film Review - Hulk
Let's put this in perspective. We are talking about a movie made from a comic book. Comic books rarely build characters of depth. The Hulk has never been a deep character, and we shouldn't expect it to become one now. It doesn't. Hulk is a superficial plot in search of special effects. It makes very little sense.
Unlike Finding Nemo, Hulk is not technology supporting a great story. It's technology for it's own sake, and that makes for a boring film.
The stand out in the cast is Nick Nolte who plays Bruce Banner's insane father. Nolte's the only person in the cast making an effort at acting. But don't get me started on Sam Elliott. This man should be slapped for his poor performance.
Do yourself a favor, go buy an Incredible Hulk comic book. They're cheaper.
