Film Review - Jungle Book, The

Disney has a bad habit of butchering the crap out of an old classic to make it a "family" movie. It certainly did when it made the animated version of The Jungle Book. Now Disney is revisiting the Kipling classic, and has done a much better job.

The animals do not speak English, and no one sings a song. This is a love story, a story of greed, good and evil.

John Cleese is a gem as the doctor who tries to civilize the jungle boy. Cary Elwes makes a great villain.

It's good to see Disney could try it again.

Slight Suction!
