 Film Review - Panic Room

Panic Room is much better that its trailer said it would be.

I really wasn't looking forward to this film. However, I was held by its superior writing.

It's very simple, Jody Foster buys a house. Some men break in because they know what is hidden in one of the rooms. The movie is all about the stand-off between the men and Foster who is in the panic room -- the location of the hidden valuables. What works is the tension between the characters.

There are only a few flaws that just don't make sense. But I got more than I expected, which always leaves me happy with a film.

Slight Suction!
