Film Review - Star Trek - Generations
Woody Allen once had a stand-up act where he was standing around on a corner, and a man pulled up in car and said, "How would you like to go to a place where everyone are fairies, and you can have all the wax lips you want?" And Allen said sure; after all he was home from college that week.
What if there was this really weird energy ribbon that can't be explained by known science that would take you to this really cool nexus universe, where you could have anything you wanted, and you would live forever, and you would never get old?
Even Disneyland has an admission price. This Trek is barely better than the rest. It does deal with a few issues we as humans need to deal with, like what's so bad about getting old, and the regrets that come with age.
But man, this could be a really good short film ... say a one-hour TV show? Two hours of this is too slow! Get on with it!
Kudos for the best planet explosion shot ever.
