In Washington DC, two D.A.R. ladies hailed a cab and asked to be taken to the meeting of the Daughters of the American Revolution at Constitution Hall.

The cab driver looked them over dubiously and said: "If it's all the same to you ladies, take some other cab. I ain't hauling no revolutionists 'round in MY cab!"
